Webbakens
Webbakens (ook wel ‘internettags’, ‘pixeltags’ en ‘clear gifs’ genoemd) zijn meestal transparante grafische afbeeldingen op een website. Webbakens worden in combinatie met cookies gebruikt om inzicht te krijgen in wat bezoekers op onze website doen. IP-adressen en URL’s
Een IP-adres (waarbij IP staat voor Internet Protocol) is een unieke identificatiecode waarmee bepaalde apparaten online kunnen worden herkend en kunnen communiceren. Als u onze website bezoekt, kunnen we via de eerder genoemde webbakens het IP-adres bekijken van het apparaat waarmee u met internet bent verbonden. Aan de hand van deze informatie wordt de algemene fysieke locatie van het apparaat bepaald. Met deze informatie kunnen we onze website aanpassen, om zo een betere gebruikerservaring te bieden.
Een URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is een unieke identificatiecode of een uniek adres voor iedere bron op internet. Het is bijvoorbeeld het adres van de webpagina die u bezoekt. Aan de hand van deze informatie kunnen we zien welke pagina’s u bezoekt en hoe u op onze website navigeert.
